The Waterway Arts Festival is a two-day outdoor celebration of the visual and performing arts with an average attendance of 15,000. Recognized among the best outdoor juried visual arts events in Texas, the Arts Festival also offers art activities for children and adults, live cultural performances, and culinary offerings. 200 Fine Artists from across the nation and other countries are showcased in this juried fine art event.

The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a juried, fine art show featuring 200 or more national and regional artists featuring, displaying, and selling art work from about 15 various mediums, and draws thousands of attendees.  It may not be the Lovre, but then they don’t offer this much fun with art since you could stick your fingres in the paint in kindergarten.

Visitors can sample everything from professional peices to student exhibitions, be entertained  with music and other performances, load up on food and drink, or let the children play while they enjoy any number of games and activities.  The floating art parade runs in the earlier part of the day in conjunction with the opening day of the festival.  The floats parade down The Waterway from Town Green Park to The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and then parade back towards Town Green Park.
